The Instruments

The violin, this marvelously complex baroque creation, has influenced musical history for many generations, giving both the maker and the musician space to interpret freely. Roland Schueler not only handcrafts his instruments but designs them as well, drawing inspiration from historical models by the great Cremonese and Milanese masters. His work is also influenced strongly by his membership (since 1998) in the group Klanggestalten.
