Roland Schueler

Roland Schueler received his training at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making and spent his journeyman years with Master Violin Maker Konrad Stoll in Allgäu (Germany). He studied violoncello performance at the Linz and Vienna Conservatories with Michael Dallinger and Andreas Lindenbaum, earning his degree in instrumental music education in 1998. After obtaining his Master Violin Maker’s Diploma, he opened his own studio in Vienna’s fourth district in 2000.

Roland Schueler’s work is influenced strongly by his membership (since 1998) in the group Klanggestalten and by collaboration with colleagues in Mannheim and Neu Meteln (Germany) as well as in Affi (Italy).
